Just prior to the lowering of flows, guys reported steelhead hook ups at the dam and overflow pools and scattered downstream thru the fast water gravel stretches for spawning fish. At the Waterport Dam, its reported there are just a few fish and likely none holding in downstream fast water runs or holes. Most Kings will be spawning or on zombie patrol with the occasional fresher fish. Those chances should only improve with cooler weather.
